WHAT TO BRING

As far as what you will need to bring depends on which time of year you are fishing.  Remember:  IT is always easier to remove layers than add them.  However you think you should dress, dress for 10 degrees cooler, as it is always colder on the water.

Clothing
In the fall, spring and winter months dress as if you are skiing or snowmobiling.  Hand-warmers, foot warmers, wools socks, and layers.    In the summer months don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and comfortable shoes.

Licenses
You are required to have a New York state fishing license for the days you will be fishing which can be purchased online through the New York State Dept of Environmental Conservation website or at any of our local issuing agents here.  (http://www.dec.ny.gov/permits/6101.html)

Food
Most people bring their lunches and beverages as the trips last about seven hours.

Equipment
As far as equipment goes, Buffalo Harbor Outfitter guide service will supply everything. If you have your own favorite rod and reel you are more than welcome to bring it. We also supply all the live bait as well as artificial lures too.  Live bait may be extra fees when applicable.
